Ravenna è Liberata
Ravenna è Liberata nasce per celebrare l’80º anniversario della Liberazione della città, ed è il risultato del laboratorio editoriale collettivo realizzato in collaborazione con l’Istituto Storico della Resistenza e dell’Età Contemporanea in Ravenna e Provincia, con il contributo del Comune di Ravenna.
Questa “zinegiornale”, la cui copertina diventa anche un poster, racconta i punti salienti della vicenda attraverso un intervento artistico ma storicamente fedele su alcuni dei tanti documenti dell’epoca custoditi dall’Istituto come giornali, volantini clandestini, ordini di battaglia dei Partigiani e immagini d’epoca.
Stampata in 800 copie, è stata distribuita gratuitamente alla cittadinanza durante le celebrazioni ufficiali dallə stessə partecipantə al workshop, impersonando il ruolo di “strilloni” degli anni ‘40.
Ravenna è Liberata was created to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the city and is the result of a collective editorial workshop carried out in collaboration with the Historical Institute of the Resistance and Contemporary Age in Ravenna and its Province, with the contribution of the Municipality of Ravenna.
This “zinewspaper”, whose cover is also a poster, recounts the salient points of the story through an artistic but historically accurate interpretation of some of the many documents from the period preserved by the Institute, such as newspapers, clandestine leaflets, Partisan battle orders and historical images.
Printed in 800 copies, it was distributed free of charge to citizens during the official celebrations by the workshop participants themselves, playing the role of “newsboys” from the 1940s.
